Harker Psychiatric is one of the most prestigious mental hospitals in the northern hemisphere. It's also currently burning to the ground.

A patient, one Erik Grenway, seems to be responsible for the devastation. Properly crazy and with a history of violence, police are sure they have their man.But not is all as it seems. Something much stranger than an escaped lunatic is going on. There are strange noises afoot. Impossible things occurring.

What does all have to do with Eve Winters, a seemingly normal young woman living in Portland. And why does Grenway seem to be following her?

TALES TO UNNERVE is a horror story, but that's not all it is. It’s a tale of mystery, a tale of god and monsters. But mostly it’s a tale about friendship, and what you are willing to do to protect it.

Joshua Earle Strother always wanted to make comics. Growing up in Hamilton, New Zealand they were among the few things that gave him peace in a chaotic world. When he was younger creating came easier to him. He drew comics all day and night. He was happy.

As he grew up, Josh began developing standards. And anxieties. It wasn't enough for his comics to exist, they had to be good. This, while perhaps a noble ambition, meant that his output was diminished to exactly zero comics. He was just too scared of it being bad, so he made nothing. He was not happy.

As of today, Josh has come to realise something. Growing up is stupid and that comics, and making comics is still something he loves. So he made “Tales to Unnerve”. Just for himself. Because creating made him happy.

And he is happy.
