So I'm from New Zealand. I don't pretend to understand how much stuff costs in the USA, so I just looked it up on Walmart. Then I realised I didn't include taxes. Welp.

So why did I make this take place in that state? Eh, I always imagined it did. To me the United States has always been a place filled with scary stories. From Goosebumps to Stephen King. I couldn't imagine this story not taking place there.
